The Los Angeles Times B2B Studios has named Michael Roth and Daron Tooch to its Legal Visionaries list. The list recognizes some of the “best and brightest” professionals in the Southern California region, according to the publication.
Roth is an accomplished civil litigator whose practice focuses on complex business and entertainment litigation, and cases brought under California’s consumer protection laws. He also leads scores of consumer class action matters across California in state and federal courts and has been hailed as a “17200 guru” by clients. In addition, Roth is often called on to represent clients through the appellate process and has obtained successful results on numerous appeals before the federal circuit courts and the California Court of Appeal.
Tooch handles managed care litigation and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for healthcare providers in civil actions and arbitrations against health plans. He represents hospitals, medical groups, physicians, pharmacies, laboratories, surgery centers, and home health companies in arbitrations in federal and state courts. With decades of trial experience, Tooch has tried over 100 cases before juries, judges and arbitrators in federal, state and administrative courts.
